Quote »1. What does that little sensor looking thing do that is located a little up and to the left of the oil filter? I have a connector with about a 3" wire comming out of it that is cut? Is this imperative??
Ooooohhhh, you may want to hook that puppy up, bro because it's your knock sensor and it is very imperative or you will be getting a code 34 quickly.Quote »will the wires under the dash be able to connect to the connector on the CA harness?
With minor adjustments, but I'll let the others confirm this.Quote »3. I thought that you would run a tiny vacuum line from the actuator to the turbo which would make the vacuum line maybe like 2" or so. But then I noticed that there is a hard vacuum line that is run along side of the head and ends right at the tip of the turbo...... any idea what i should do on that.... let me know if ya can
Rick, connect the hose from the turbo to that of the wastegate actuator for now. This will give you stock boost (5-8psi) until you get a good boost controller. Hope this helps.
