Got the manifold and turbo in today

Great day, or atleast it started out that way. It's my wifes birthday today, so she's in a good mood and whatnot. Then I get to packages in the mail. The manifold and the turbo I've been waiting on. The turbo is nice, but it's new so it looks just like any other T3/TO4. The manifold also looks very nice. The welds are very good, the collector and runners are all ported very nicely with no noticeable defects.

And then BAM...within 5 mins disaster strikes. My wifes dad gets in a horrible car accident, he's in surgery right now as we speak, and after closer inspection, the manifold I have fits a CA18DET, not a KA24DET. SO I'm back to square one with the 240 and am probably taking an emergency trip back to Syracuse.

SO more delays on the kit...Hopefully the wifes dad pulls though surgery, else she'll have to celebrate his death every year on her birthday.

good luck. i hope he pulls through. but in all honesty, for as much as we ***** about going to the doc, those surgeons really kick arse. i am amazed on a nearly dialy basis on how well they do their job.
