Ok, so i bought som Bilstien Shocks not for preformance, but for ride quality and well they were on sale or something.

Point is i fabricated some raisers which basically consists of two top plates and a 2" x 3" schedule 40 MS pipe wich gives me about 2 3/8" of lift. I placed them ontop of the newley assembled shock and spring and installed it. After a while of intensive Squeezing and compressing ai finally got the result, but when i did the left side i found that the entire OEM assebly was trashed, the only surviving piece was the steel plates.

So i now need

1. upper spring insulator2. boot3. Bump stop4. The rubber upper spring seat

So anyone knows wher to get these things, i checked in many places and none had in stock.

Why in the world would you raise your Z? The Z is a sports car. It's supposed to be low. If you want to go higher, get a Frontier.

Hello again Z owners, after lifting the front end of my 96 2+2 300ZX I realized what a big mistake I had made, there was way too much space between the front tire and the fender. Although there are many advantages of having a taller car, the overall Z look/stance gets sacrificed when doing so. I later decided to lower it once I completed my NA->TT swap, for which I bought a new front bumper. Needless to say it was a mistake lifting the Z and I am now returning to the "island".

I'll just leave it at "glad you've come to your senses", and wish you luck going forward!
