I'm wondering the same. Did you install yourself or mechanic? Because I thought aftermarket parts voids your warranty does it not? =/

I ordered it direct from the Fujita website and got it installed at my local mechanic for around $70. I'm not sure it voids the warranty, I think it depends on what goes wrong with the car. I still kept all the stock parts anyways...

installing it is pretty easy. if itz ur first time installing a intake it'll take some time, but itz eventually u'll figure it out. as far as warranty goes my local dealership told me if they can prove the damage is caused by the intake then itz void.

To anyone who is wondering about the warranty issue, I looked into it and called Nissan a while back and it will not void your warranty. Car owners are protected by federal law when installing aftermarket parts. The main reason is so there remains competition in repair and maintenance parts, otherwise it would be too easy for Nissan and other car manufacturers to sell exclusive "warranty approved" parts for an inflated price.

In short, it does not void the warranty. However if there was ever a problem and for some reason it was found to be the air intake at fault, then you may be out of luck for coverage. BUT the chances of anything going wrong with an air intake is supremely unlikely. If you think about it its really just a tube with a filter on it so just make sure you wash the filter or replace it regularly and I guarantee you will be fine.

Heres a great link if you want to know more about all warranties.http://en.wakopedia.org/wiki/M...y_Act

Also if you really wanted to, you can easily swap in your original intake. There isnt really any way the dealers can know if you had an aftermarket intake.

Hope this helps someone!!

I love the sound of it! it sounds mean I notice it picks up quicker at high speeds...Exhaust is on the "to do" list

but the install is simple as hellwhoever did the right up for diy is godsent because it pretty much explains everythingi don't see how you can mess up unless you don't know how to tighten bolts or get insanely aggresive and start ripping everything out

I don't know much about cars, I mean I know some but not when it comes to the engine so I didn't wanna take a chance of screwing anything up.
