finally got the car running awesome on the new setup and off to the dyno for some tuning.

what i did over the winter:

Jun crank collarnew N1 oil pumpcrank shaft got polishedACL Race bearings rod and mainstomei metal gasket set (intake manifold, exhaust, 1.2mm head gasket)ARP head studsall new oil sealsnew std water pumpnismo thermostatkeep stock rods and pistionsstock cams for now

PTE GT4067Rtubular manifoldTial 44mm wastegatePTE 880cc injectorsdual walbro 255 pumpaeromotive regulator

some pics of the car and setup

and on thursday had some time to go and do some basic tuning to see where it stands. we went real easy on it, stock timing map, keep the afrs in the low 11s. runs were on bp 93 oct pump gas...

on 14psi it made 440whp, and on only 18psi it made a awesome 480 whp! i was very happy with the numbers, im sure with alittle leaning out it would make 500 on 18psi. but for now i left it there to keep it safe and so i can just have fun with it and enjoy it.

dyno graph, dont mind the numbers on the line there not peak numbers

and here is a vid of the 480whp pullhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v..._page

soon im going to get some cams, and go back for a race gas tune on 25-27psi. should put me up close to 650ish.

hey, how did that turbo rebuild work out for you? I think I sold you that gt40. good to see you got everything sorted out and back together! your numbers look a lot better than mine in the spoolup. might be the stock cams.

Nice man, glad to see someone making power!

What are you using to tune it with?

its a stock r32 ecu that i had a socket put in for reprogramable eproms. and im using rom editor for tuning... it cost me next to nothing, starts, drives and acts like a stock car but with a lot more power

plus i can change rev limit, kill the speed limit, run huge injectors and im running twin Z32 mafs so i could flow some real high power numbers.

soon im going to try a single z32 in a 4in pipe...

hey, glad to hear the turbo is still working out for you and doing it's job. i'm running the tomei poncams (type B i think?) whichever is the higher lift that are drop in.

your low end and spool up definitely looks a lot better than mine did. i think i was pk tq around 6k.

Nice job on the single.

Kinda off the main subject but did you have slicks and lsd when you ran thata 11.7 1/4 runs? Any change to your suspension settings? That's a sweet time on full interior stock rb26.

dont lean it out, bump the timing a bit 1-2 deg and you will hit 500.

you have enough fuel to keep things cool.

Congrats... Looks and sounds great.

That is almost the exact same setup that I have. Even plan to run the same tires.

i love it and i am going to try to tune for 1000cc injectors and e85 on a stock ecu with resistors next.....lol...my 460's are crying @ 8psi on e85

Congrats on the results....i think i saw this car last year in xeina ohio at a drift / drag event....it was in the fall but, i cant remember the name of the event

Damn, I'm going to have to try some stock suspension. I run 11.8's at 124-126 I can't wait to get this drivetrain into a S chassis in the states

Can't wait to see what kind of numbers you put down next time. Have you thought about water/meth injection instead of race gas to try and run those kind of boost numbers?
