Got the CAI installed but have a question

Well I got the CAI installed already love it question is did anyone wrap these to keep the heat away also is anyone using the cover that supposedly stops moisture if so do you have any feedback also I seen a thread where someone cut out the vents where the fog light is well just the diamond pattern does it work do you javelin any feedback about that as well ... And Saturday ill be getting the remote start put in and the new sub going.
