Got the 300ZX Caliper , need help finding the rotor

I have a S13 ,plannning to swap the Z brake , I did the seached around and I know there's a lot of thread about this mod, but none of them mention where to get the rotor redrill the hole onto the 300zx rotor ( I won't redrill it myself...that's scary)...what other option I have beside using 300zx rotor ( any other car using the same bolt pattern and same size by any chance??! what did you do to make your fit , what's ur setup ? let me konw. thanx

any local machine shop can drill a 4-lug pattern for you...you could get attains 5-lugs hub for the fronts and use the z's rotors :)

take you four lug rotor, lay it hat-to-hat on the Z rotor, line up one of the oles on the 240 rotor with one on the 300 rotor and reconfirm the center hole for the hub is lined up perfect, spray the back of the 240 rotor with white spray paint and remove, centerpunch each of the white circles and drill.

will regular steel/iron drill bits go through it?

it's not that I can't drill thru the rotor...it's that I dont' wan tto mess up and drill a wrong hole.. I though of the match up rotor method..that may help, thank thou

No, you'll need something stronger. Usually people in the shops use a vertical milling machine with carbide/diamond tipped bits.

You'll probably break those steel ones.

If you want, you can purchase cross drilled KVR rotors from PDM racing. $105 a piece with redrill though................

Heavythrottle.com also sells re-drilled brembo rotors if you want new ones.
