Damn bro, looks like you have your work cut out for you! I'll be interested to see how it progresses.

What are your plans?

I say strip it and make an autox or drag car.

Well... first clean her up, wash and wax (unless she's coated in oxy, in which case, paint). Then do one of two things: strip and race, or clean totally and restore.

the 280 was BIG, bigger than the 240 and 260 and the motors didnt make that much more HP. sooo, i say strip it, but do interior so you can have something drivable. then drop an RB in her.

i say restore it visually...but make it sweet mechanically...all new suspension, maybe coilovers? and a RB or SR motor swap :D

I know the RB26 basically drops in a 240z, so I am wondering how much different it would be for the 280? But as they have said, looks like you got your work cut out for you. She sounded amazing on the phone, from what I could tell, earlier tonight. Very smooth. Congrats on the purcahse, I can't wait to see her in real life! Thats one rare car!

I think you should restore most of it, put a monster motor in it and have a BA weekend car. I mean you could still drag it with a motor like an RB in it, while keeping all the luxuries. It would still be alot faster than a 2slowty.
