yep, went to the salvation army to contribute old clothes for a tax write-off, and sure enough, got stuck in ice, took me about 20 minutes to get out, but i did it on my own, because 240s have balls!

it was pretty strange going 5 mph with the speedo reading 15 mph in second gear at 6k.., all that drifting and other reckless shenanigans actually help out in the ice, because now i know just how my car behaves without traction, who'd of thought?

just sharing

no hill, 20 minutes including getting stuck, going inside to give my old clothes and get receipt, asking around for anyone with a truck, calling my friend mike to come pull me out, and then saying F it and got a pretty good technique going to get out. but i did try to push, that was going nowhere.

Try the reverse-to-forward method nextime. You rock the car back and forth and gain some mometum, it'll help a little when you dont have anyone to push. I had to do that this morning to get over a pile of icy snow that somehow ended up in front of and behind my car (damn neighbors).
