Got spark and fuel to the rail....but nothing is coming out of the injectors. I have check each injector for ohms/voltage and everything checked out good.

I also have used the screwdriver CLICKING method on the injector, but that came out bad. I just removed the fuel rail and did a bench test to confirm that nothing is coming out of the injectors.

What else could control this action. I have 2 ecu's and nothing changes. I need some help here. The engine is a CA, but the wiring is 99% identical to the SR. I'm hoping that someone may give me other ideas.

Crank Angle Sensor (or equivalent)?

The CAS (Nissan calls it a Cam angle sensor but it is the same thing) is what tells the injectors when to squirt. Assuming you have a FSM to assist you I would pull the valve cover to make not of the CAS position with a paint pen. Just put a dot on the CAS ans a dot on the cam at the same tooth. Then remove the CAS and the fuel rail with the injectors plugged in to their respective harness. With the key in the ON position and the injectors pointed in a safe direction (preferably into a bucket/pan or towel) turn the CAS by hand and the injectors should squirt. If they do not you could look around for a shop to test it using a lab scope but odds are that the CAS or the wiring to the CAS are broken. The CAS does cause a fair amount of headaches for SR owners and the CA18 is basically a transverse mounted SR so I wouldn't be surprised.

Err yeah, you're right--cam angle sensor. I keep swapping the C's around interchangeably. I guess it is on the camshaft, not the crankshaft.

Wouldnt that be throwing a code if it was malfunctioning?

The engine might not know its not working. If the CAS doesn't tell the ECM that the motor is turning as far as it knows the key is just in the on position.

Also a lot of swapped cars are either never throwing or always throwing codes from faulty wiring and/or lack of proper emissions equipment. A reason why I am glad there is no OBDII Emissions check in my county.
