my 2 goals this weekend. 1 get my nistune ecu and maf to work right so I can use the full map. Before it would stay in the same part of my map no matter what boost. Well I got that part nailed down now, turns out it was my mistake. When u make changes to ur program ur suppose to use the burn to rom button. I must have made way too many changes since the time I loaded the base map to get the car running last year and never wrote it into the memory. End result was the ecu been confused but ohh well live and learn. I loaded a quick map based off the stock RB20 bin as far as timing and fuel went and went from there. It worked I could get a clean pull @ 6psi (wastegate spring). Then I programed my trusty old EVC4 and got it to control my boost :). Dialed in 1bar and that's what I got out of it, a nice clean pull to 8k.

then I said time to go back to 18psi now that I have better control of the fuel map! buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz wrong. It seems like I'm maxing the maf out or something not sure wtf it is now. Logs show the volts going to 5.0 @ around 6800. It would not rev past 7k :( ohhh well at least it's using the whole map now. looks like I might have to put the Lightning maf into a 3" intercooler pipe and see if that will stop it from maxing out so fast.

Don't mind my dirty car it's been sitting out in the sun for a long time in the desert.

What MAF are you using?

What is your A/F when it hits the 7k brick wall as it looks and sounds like a fuel cut to me.

Remember we had that discussion about the lightning maf awhile back? The only reason that maf supports so much power is because the size of the pipe it is located in. Its in a thread here somewhere.

Regardless, great to see some progress. Get a larger pipe and you should be golden.

Yeah I remembered about it after I hit the max volts lol. How far away is the maf suppose to be from the turbo for pull through? Maybe I'll just go back to that since my BOV is sucking anyway and surging.
