Did I say I liked it on there?

Point was, it's got a lot of mods, none of which are simple.

I don't particularly like Silvia fronts either, but that's not the point. I respect those who do it, if only for the fact that they put in the effort.

Again, not my point.

RB swap, manual trans in a 'vert, S15 front... all fairly involved modifications, NONE of which has been done by the guy who was lipping off.

If you're gonna bag on someone's work, better make sure you're at least AS "mechanically inclined" as they are.

This thread is awesome.

The fenders fit like crap because they are not conversion fenders. I gave up on fiberglass front fenders a while ago. They are just OEM s15 fenders that are going to be cut and welded to s13 fenders for a perfect fit. Far from "bolt-on"

I'll worry about the bodywork later, I just wanna drive it again

I wouldn't say this was extremely difficult, but I found it to be far from simple.....

Regardless, any and all input is always appreciated

^ That looks difficult. I would definitely be lost trying that.

OP, what size are those TE's you had?

They're 18X8.5, 18x9.5 +30 something offset, might be +38 IIRC.

Grant clowns on whatever wheels aren't on his car.

I've seen some whack rollers on a couple of his rides too, so don't put too much stock in his opinion.

Haven't put many miles on them yet, vert ate her turbo soon after they went on.

New turbo is installed, re-tune scheduled for next week.

Didn't notice any weirdness with them when I WAS driving them pretty hard, tho.

hhrrrmmmm....

I'd love an update with pics if you track them.

If that car can handle a daily beating around cones, and also raise itself to accomidate drive ways:

k-sport wins.

Do you mind me ask where you have your dyno tuning performed? I was tuned at Dynocomp and Xact Dyno.

My G35 gets dyno tuned at UMS.

My convertible gets tuned on deserted streets and the I-10 freeway west of Phoenix.

There for a while I was feeling pretty bad and maybe guilty for not coming on here that often. My absence has been completely justified.

I guess what I fail to understand is why so many bash so much for something that can be reversed, and often times is. It's not like he ran the car into a tree and says something like "Look what I did omg lol!!!1".

You pay the bills, you have the say. Otherwise get back to your Import Tuner rags and blow your load on what ever it is that makes fruit of the loom gravy for you.

I'm glad I bought a bike ha. Damn cagers....

I think you need to keep my name off your keyboard.

When you build something that complex, you can say something... Let's see YOUR engine swap / ITB setup / front end conversion / body & paint work.

I don't really even know the guy (met him a couple times), but I know he's a true enthusiast and busts his arse on this car, so my recommendation is to put up or shut up.

Easy to criticize when you're not out in the garage building something.

hahaha its plain to see that no effort was put into the car....

if you are going to do something..do it right....not half arsed

last time I checked any enthusiast I knew put tons of time and effort into their car...ie. make sure that your hood, fenders LINE UP, and your bumper does not sagg....why convert your front end to look like a pile of garbage. if he can't even do it properly hes not putting that much effort into it.

I think butcher is more of what you are looking for...

when you post your pics up of your ride, you have to expect some comments, either positive or negative.
