Ok so you didnt get the solid alum subframe bushings hehe... Would of taken a hell of alot longer then 30 mins to get the bushings out and put the alum ones in hehe.
I did the low buck approach to this a week ago, with the 1 3/8" and 1 5/8" flat washers... For 11.33$

While yours press in the center of the bushing slightly (obviously mine cant), mine do the same secondary effect with not allowing the subframe to move more then a 1/16 - 1/8 either way

One day I may go with the kazama as the flat washers weigh about 4 lbs total, or probably 3.5 lbs more then the alum inserts. But for now I wanted to fix the so called "wagging" effect before the 6th auto-x and I def didnt have 100$ for them hehe
In the videos from my auto-x I have of hard cornering and slalom you can see the roll of the rear with about a .5 sec delay to the fronts which have nearly 0 roll. On the street I could notice the car acting as if it where divided by a bearing, allowing the front to stay planted while the rear rolled. This is now greatly reduced...
The original design allows for quite a bit of movement before the bushing is fully compressed / extended, and before the suspension is 100% utilized.. This also removes alot of road noise, and gives the car a more safe push or understeer bias. I may add a set to my girls stock 92 too see how much of an effect it has on a stock chassis. The reason it feels more darty is beacuse the inputs arent going though the bushings then to the suspension anymore. Its a more direct approach, and is what I accredit it too.
The spacers keep the subframe in the exact same spot as the metal insert in the bushing rests on the frame and on the lower brackets, and as the spacer fits around these the subframe basically remains unmoved.
I didnt have an alignment done, and doubt I will... I will be able to run more front pressure then rear (my previous setup was 36 f 38 r) at my next auto-x or mabey equal ... Since I wasnt using 100% contact patch in the rear this should be nice to gain.
The road noise is pretty pronounced now though eh? hehe Kinda nice to have a different sound then Baaaaaaaa from the exhaust, its like a BaaaWaWaWaWaW with the wawa's increasing in speed as mph does. Then again if I wanted a quiet cushy ride I would have gotten an Infiniti...
edit: did those have the upper ones notched to clear the studs or was it solid requiring the full dropping of the subframe? SPL parts shows the kazama ones notched on the uppers (bottom of page). I notched the flat washers in the same way so I didnt have to drop the subframe. I removed the front bolts and loosened the rears down to the bottom. Jacked up the car and had enough room to slide them in. Then I added the front lowers torqued, and the rear lowers.
