Wasnt pleased with my yokohama geolanders dry/wet performance (but there great in snow) so I picked up some goodyear wranglers with a much wider footprint, they are ALOT beefier than stock lol, they dont rub on full lock, but they touch fender liner in the fronts if you hit a decent bump while turning

mmmm side exhaust

And like I said I put a new stereo in, walled off my 4 15's. Im already building a new box for them though, this one flexes a bit to much as I was skimpy on the internal bracing.

s*** wangs hard

Technically "yes", but no at the same time. Mines quite a bit lower than my friends, Im assuming because I have around 400lbs in the back with the box/subs/amps

And an extra 150ish right at the nose with my extra HUGE batteries (which are getting removed very shortly actually, going down to 2 batts)

You should see it when i load up and and bring a couple buds to the bar. SLAMMED lol

Oh and for the niteshades, best tip. MANY light coats. First attempt, was 2 thick coats, and the second one ran VERY easy, this paint is very eay to run. So I redid it (as you see it now) with 4-5 light coats, and it came out much better

I cleared after the VHT paint but thats it

Im probly gonna redo them in the summer, as I didnt remove my first "runs" well enough and Ill put some more effort into it and do it right

Yeah, I was wondering about the clear corners as well. They look sharp.

Yeah I did it myself doesnt cost you anything, the orange plastic piece is just clipped on in there, I did it the ghetto way I suppose. I simply got the piece to unclip and be loose inside the headlight, took out the HID bulb, shook the headlight until the orange piece was ontop of the hole, stuck some needlenose pliers in there and broke the orange piece and pulled it out of the whole.

OR

You can stick your headlights in the oven and remove it without breaking it.

I didnt trust that method, and didnt care if I couldnt put the piece back in afterwards...... so I busted it....

Me too! Any tips or warnings? Do you ever have any problems with the authorities with the clear corners?

That ride looks sick as hell, everything all blacked out is awesome. Really dig it.

Im a showy type of guy to, but that looks awesome, done perfect.

That windshield strip is HUGE though!! Oem wheels painted gloss look hot to

Any numbers from the stereo? Looks like you would be into some competitions with a serious setup like that

thats one hell of a truck, how do you like your wranglers so far?

the box looks great you did a good job on the carpeting...whats the specs? im thinking of building a new box for 15s my current box wont fit in the trunk unless i have it flipped sideways

The wranglers are sweet, a bit big but they are great tires, the 275 really helped my spinning on launches ( I race alot, its just in my blood lol ) and there first true rain test was the last 2 days and they did good. I "feel" (might be in my head) a better ride quality aswell, and definetely less tire road noise. I got them for dirt cheap so I like em

That box that was pictured, it was 17ish cubic feet with 150 sq in of port tuned to 36hz. Im literally building a new box in about an hour with the port in the center and GOBS more port area than the last, wasnt happy with the last one flexing.

I have to build the boxes IN the car, so its quite tedious, but if you want a 37.5 X 32" front baffle that what ya gotta do lol, carpetting while the box is in the car is a PITA too

I just threw out a few dual 15" sub boxes as I had no room to store them anymore, coulda gave you them...

As for the clear corners and the cops, I have never had them mentioned before. They dont care around here. The tint however, gets there attention, I get pulled over at night alot, I dunno if its the exhaust, or the tint, or the stereo, but they dont like me when the sun goes down it seems lol, usually get a few compliments and Im on my way, but I get pulled over ALOT (twice this week)

Drinking and driving (even just 3 beers) isnt really an option anymore

Isn't the parking/corner/whatever light a halogen white bulb? Don't they need to emit amber?

The bulb itself is white, and I removed that orange guard, bu the blinker/side light still lights up amber, there must be something else inside the housing that you cant see that makes it that way, still looks perfectly legal when blinking though!!

But I wouldnt care if it didnt anyways, thats the least of my worries when I get pulled over lol

Alright apparently I'm missing something. I tried taking out the headlight housing but it won't come out. It's just two bolts right?

no theres two bolts up top plus another bracket at the bottom. Two phillips head screws on mine, but u could also prolly just remove the whole bracket- held in with a third bolt. I got mine off, but couldn't seem to get the orange piece to come loose. I didn't want to damage the housing or anything. Might have to go with the oven method if i cant figure this out.

Found the third bolt. now how do I get the housing out? I pull every which way and it gives but doesn't come out.

are you sure you removed the right bolts? theres a lot of fasteners, but not all attach the assembly to the car, some just hold it together. To get at the bottom one, im pretty sure you need to remove the upper plastic piece of your grill. Other than that, the only thing I can think of is the plastic prongs that hold the assembly into the car. You can't see them until you get the light off, but theyre there, towards the outside edge of the light, and you just need to pull hard enough for them to let go. good luck

Haha yeah sorry WOT!

Nick, yeah I got all the bolts, but those fasteners are a real pain. I couldn't figure out where the one to the grille is. I got the outside one loose. I'm gonna save it for another time. I was getting really frustrated and things were breaking. The plastic that holds the top bolt towards the outside of the housing broke off, so now there's 2/3 bolts. Something's wrong with the fastener on the outside and there's a small gap now between the plastic trim under the housing and the body. UGH!

Ya its 3 bolts, sounds like you found them though. Mine came out with a decent fight aswell, removing the front grill piece gives you a better access and grip

The bottom bolt really isnt necessary though
