I got rear ended in my Civic last Tuesday, the rear end is f***ed. any ways the repair estimate which I got from Custom Car Crafters was for $6183.57. Long story short, they totaled my Civic and were to lazy to send an outside insurance adjuster to check out the car so they just decided to give me the full value or the car which is $2,228.00 -$228 and let me keep the Civic which still runs and drives fine. before the accident in my opinion the civic was only worth $800.

I brought my car up to the salvage yard to see how much I could get and they told me $476.00. so when I get the $2000.00 and salvage the civic I'll be sitting on almost $6000.00. so I decided on getting a 95 or 96 zenki so I'll have some money left over to put into the car.

and some unrelated pics

^ its all good some people like civics/Honda's some people don't, I f***ing hated my civic/honda and I'm not a big fan of honda so I agree with you when you say that's one less honda on the road but, unfortunately it still runs and I've decided to drive it until I get the insurance pay out and buy a 240sx.

I don't like civics/honda so to me it's not worth fixing. the rear part of the frame is f***ed to where you going to put it on your frame puller? so do you want to buy it mr. fix it

id part it out.itll take more time but youll make more than 500 bucks off of it.who knows maybe you could pull in an extra grand by going that route.just my two cents.some wrecks are a blessing in disguise.also, dont jump on the first zenki you find, look around until you find a pretty good deal

I am well aware of my options. nor am I stranger to the waiting game finding the peferct zenki will take time and since the civic still runs I got plenty of time.
