First of all good choice on converting to topfed injectors. Second of all the DE uses low imp injectors and those are high imp. How ever what you could do is sell those injectors to someone that has an SOHC, and get the Mazda FC turbo Top feed 550cc Low imp 86-87. And that will be a direct drop in.

Here is a link to a whole injector spread sheet Brian made a looong time ago.

are u sure because in that injector spread sheet is sais quote...

"Nissan KA24DE Side feed 270cc High S13/S14"

i could be wrong....

if that is true that means the ka24de will take the rx7 injectors i have because they are both high impendence....but will they fit..and remember i have the top fed fuel rail...

I'm pretty sure you're right, all KAs are high impedance. What year RX-7 are your 460cc injectors for? My 88 NA RX-7 had low impedance injectors and so did the 87 TII swap I put in, so I'm pretty sure 86-88 were low and 89-91 were high impedance.

ok.....i just called my friend who gave me the injectorshe said they are from his 1988 mazda rx7 non turbo edition....which shows

88 13B NT high square offset 460cc purple 195500-1350

ok the part number is the same but my injectors are red.......this is what throws me off......that dosen't add up

the part number matches two rx7 which are the

86-87 13B NT low square center 460cc red 195500-1350and the other is 88 13B NT high square offset 460cc purple 195500-1350

am i missing somethingand do they bolt up to the ka24de head???

WHAT COLOR ARE THESE....they look red to me...orangish..the color is throwing me off

I'm looking at one of my 550CC RX7 injector which is a red top, from a 90 FC turbo model. Which are basically the same dimensionally as the 460s and they are direct bolt ons for a top feed rail except for the injector clips themselves. So basically aslong as they are top feed and high imp, you're golden.

thats what i wanted to here....so direct bolt on as long as they are high impedance because the ka24de is high as well

EDIT

DAMN IT....i'm confused...i found this on a rx7 forum

quote"Now, having read that... I just checked a red-topped 195500-1350 I had here and it is NOT Peak and Hold (low impedance) DOH!!!

So the colors are NOT always correct! Stupid Denso. It would appear that they ran out of Purple and switched to Red resin 1/2 way thru making the 195500-1350's!!! When I called and asked them about it, they said, "Why are you trying to put RX-7 injectors in an MX-6? " ( I hung up while mouthing "mutherf**kers").

So I called witchhunter.com. They do nothing but rebuild injectors. He said "Denso is stupud. Forget the color, go by the notch."

On the square connectors, if the notch/indentation on the OUTSIDE of the connector is offset, it is HIGH impedance. Mine was offset to the right. If the notch is in the center (not the notch inside the connector), then it is the low impedance connector. The BOTTOM line was, if it plugs into your stock harness, then it is correct for your car's ECU"

so then my in injectors are high impendence

The red topped 1350 injectors are supposed to be low impedence. The purple 1350 are the high. Since theyre red, I think your injectors came from an 86-87. No biggie, you just need to wire in resistors.

You can test resistance across the injector to see if yours are high or low. Low is like 3-5 ohms and high is 12-14 ohms...
