I just got a rebuild on my ka24de and I was wandering when I could start taking it to the track(SCCA). From what I read on the internet I should wait a thousand miles and change the oil then ill be good. Any one else have experience with there rebuilds?

Probably a good idea to wait at least that long, if only to make sure everything is running correctly. Ultimately, as long as the engine is broken in well, you may be more than fine at 1000 miles.
