Sucks bro. I'm still rolling, 6 months strong. I'm always lookin for the po though and I'm constantly rolling my windows down....sneaky bastards#1Tango wrote:So i got pulled over today for having tinted windowsModified by #1Tango at 3:45 AM 10/29/2008
Look man, Im not at all trying to be a jerk at all but Ive seen stuff like this coming from you many times. All I ask is to stop bashing people because they do something to their car. If they want to tint their car illegally to the point where they look out for cops...who the hell cares, its not your car, and its not your business what they do with their car. If they want to drive like that, then who cares, no skin off your bones right? And I repeat, I am truely not trying to be a jerk.Shad0wXCalibur wrote:Um... what the hell is the point of doing something to your car if you have to be super careful because it's illegal? Here's an idea. Tint the car the legal limit. It's cheaper because you don't get expensive tickets for it and you can actually keep your windows up. And because you wanted the car to look cool is a stupid reason to do it. I have my Versa tinted the legal limit and it looks perfectly fine.
I think windows tinted passed the legal limit look good, like real good. But I have to go with Mr. Calibur it does sound silly to be on the constant look out for the po-po b/c your tints are too dark, plus doesn't it drop visibility a lot??? I know I drove my friends Xterra and she had 5% all around and I couldnt see $#!%.But then again it does look good, so the trade off here is looks for safety, more tickets and a lower chance of passing your inspection.Shad0wXCalibur wrote:Um... what the hell is the point of doing something to your car if you have to be super careful because it's illegal?
