In that picture, where can u get that plastic covering thing that goes behind the rear wheels? I think I should get some because that area always gets small nicks from stuff flying off the rear wheels and hitting the body.

You'll learn that in order to hang around on this board you'll have to become somewhat of a smartass to tolerate Daunttless. :D

hey rbboyl, u can get mudflaps outta a junkyard for cheap, u live in jersey so it shouldn't be hard to find a set. But they don't look real good on a car, if u check the guestbook on that page you'll see someguy tellin him to lose the mudflaps.

I know what you mean. I was new to this board not too long ago, but I learned to drive a stick on an '89 240 hatch that just came off the dealer floor. People really take the "driving mom's car" s*** seriously.

Welcome to our world! :evilhaha

Thanks man. Hmmm, yea, I guess they'd look out of place, but man I hate looking behind my rear wheels and seeing all that crap on my body. It'll be even worse when winter comes around and they spread the sand all over. I'll be kicking up grains of sand on my car all the time.:(

not for performance huh. well dam. well thats ok, i'm not gonna be autox'ing or anything. plus the pro-kits ain't low enough. your car looks good with them, but not low enough for me. the sportlines are perfect IMHO. even tho they ain't performance springs, i bet the handle better than OEM right? i figure they would.......if not, then thats what my strut bar is for;)

Are there any other springs that will drop the car lower but are performance?

Oh yea.. those pro-kits in the picture... did it have time to settle before they took that? If it's not fully settled it can drop up to another inch

Look at the members rides on Speedfreaks 240sx. Those are Sportline springs on mine and they work verywell autocrossing.

I know you're talking about Sportlines, but I put on APEXi World Sport Coilovers, and I am very happy with them. On my stock 15 inch wheels I have NO wheel gap, and the ride is great. Well worth the money, and easy to install since I was simply taking one assembly out for another.

so you have an s13 then? i guess so if your have 15's. coilovers are a buttload of money, so i rather get a good spring/strut combo than coilovers. b4 i ordered my springs and struts, i looked at the Apex'i coils, and i liked them obviously, but i don't have that much money:(

I was going to 2 tone the valve cover with yellow down the middle and Red on the outside much like the white and red on the sr20det's. I wanted to match up the battery a little. I just havent gotten to it yet and now that I have a sr20det coming I am not going to do anything else to the engine. I sold my ka to a friend that is going to put it in his 510.
