Got the Pirelli Ice & Snow tires off tirerack.com

These pictures are from a week ago right when i put them on.

Also they gave the car like a 1 inch lift at the fenders and front lower control arms i measured.

those and the Blizzaks are my favs, I have a set of Blizzaks for my STI, and man, what a difference they make. Its a shame snow tires havn't really caught on with the majority of Americans. Most skimp out and think all - seasons will be "good enough" then wonder why they ended up in a ditch, and the guy with the MR-2 turbo was going past at a faster speed then they were!! Good purchase, but just to keep them in good condition, I'd probably keep them off your truck until snow is predicted within 36hrs. other wise, they can wear faster then harder compound tires. unless this is your only set of wheels, if thats the case, no burns outs Um K!

yeah i know these will wear more and all that, but i had to put them on this early because my other ones were sht, and when youd accelerate in the rain youd be fishtailing or drifting on turns. wasnt safe at all. and yeah for now this is my only set of rims, but in spring im getting 20's, so then i have ones for spring/summer/fall, and then these for winters.

Thoughts: Wish they were on my Path.

Comments: Look great. Dont see how you can go wrong with a snow tire in the winter. This is the first set of Pirelli's I have ever owned but so far I like them. Running them in the summer, still using original stock Bridgestones in the winter. Also had a set of Dunlop Grand Trek TG35 in 275/55/17 and they were one of the best sets of tires I have owned.

Nice Choice in my book-pls post reviews when the snow hits.

Not bad, but aren't those "winter only"...

How is the noise with those? Any worse than your summers?

Since we are on the subject of sharing tires...here is what I'll be rolling on year round. Winter..."it's already been brought it."

there for winter and cold weather, if you use them while its warm or hot then tread will wear considerably fast since its soft-compound needed for traction in cold weather and snow. and the noise, just like my other ones, mabye at like 75-80, you can hear a little hiss, because the treads cut in diff direction then normal tires.

I hate you.

It's been snowing all day here, about 3" on the ground so far. I hate the north.

If it makes you feel any better it rained for 2 days this week and the temp dropped to 60*. That's the first rain we've seen in an extremely long time, kinda nice.
