thanks man. they feel pretty good. i've heard from a few people that did this that the pedal feels a little different, as in mushy or sumthin? i dunno, but i bleed them really well, and they dont' really feel *mushy* perse, but they do feel different. the pedal goes down a lil farther before it engages, but once they start stoppin the car, boy do they stop. i haven't mashed hard on them, just because i want the pads to get settled in real well and everything used to workin, but in a few days, i'll mash on them and see how they do. heh, i bet i'll leave a few tire marks around :)

Sweet Ben! Did ya put on any steel brake lines or anything? Sounds like you blead the brakes right, which is probably most people's problems.

Good job! Did they bolt right on to your car or did they require modification? Im thinking about doing this someday to my car, it requires a little modification.

Andy, i can't wait for you to see them either!! LOL. i can't wait to see your new car actually, which hopefully you will have by then, heh.

Chris, yes i put stainless lines on there. without them, i wouldn't have the pressure i need, which means crappy braking, which would completely defeat the purpose of this upgrade, lol.

Brian, yes, they bolt right up. only thing i had to do was change the brake lines from the wheel well wall to the caliper, and they are just a bolt up job also. everything on the install went pretty much perfect. it was great!

after i got done bleeding them and everything and was fixin to drive her around, i started the car, pushed the brakes, and it went ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. i was like dam, this sucks. but, i got the idea to pump them. so i pumped the brake pedal, and here comes the pressure. so, i got the pressure build up, went driving, and everything was perfect! only thing was tho, that when i was coming home from school the next day, my steering wheel was shakin a lil more, and sooner than it normally does (i need to get an alignment, i know). so i pull over, and my fuggin lugnuts were loose on my left front. my dam wheel about fell off, LOL. so yea, i tightened them up finger tight, and went real slow home, which was about a mile away. when i got there i tightened them up real good. gave me quite a wake up call though!

hmm sounds good man, my brakes are way fugged up right now.. i just replaced the master cyclinder and brake booster.. and they are still sucking brake fluid and taking on air somewhere.. all the lines look fine so i dont know what the heck is up.. do u know if its possable to replace everything with 300z brakes.. or is it only the claspers that bolt up.. i need to start working on them.. i really hate taking out all the metal pipeing and rubber tubing but i guess it has to be done :(

the entire 300zx brake swap can be done, but the rear is harder. something about the way our ebrake is, and also need to replace the spindle i think. but, it can be done. i know there are at least 2 people in atlanta that have done it. one s14, one s13.

Any word on what hurdles had to be jumped on the S13 install. I am waiting for my set to get here so I can install them.

well, obviously you will need either spacers or new rims for the front ones to fit, i dunno about the back. other then that, i guess its all about the same as an s14. stainless lines and such. not sure though man.

yea, the 5speed. before the 5spd though, i might get new plug wired and a grounding kit. i have some engine noise comin thru my speakers, and also i can hear a slight static noise when i push on the brakes. they did this before the 300z brakes, so its nuthin to do with these. but yes, major mod next is the swap. anyone wanna help? lol
