....and do they look sweet. I got my Pirelli's yesterday at 2:45pm and off to the tire place I went. I got in and they mounted and balanced the tires, which took them forever and then put them on the car. The guy came into the lounge to get me and took me to my car. He smiled and said, " I thought you would like to see "The Big Sexy".. Ha. I love how these O-Z wheels look on the Q!!! So after the guys up front came to look I went home. Today I spent with an air wire wheel grinder removing rust and painting the Calipers Yellow and the rusty part of my rotors black (7 hours due to bad sore back ). Overall it came out great. I didn't take any pic today because I want to wash the Q first then let you see it, plus it was getting late. Tomorrow, I let "The Big Sexy"(as the tireman said) come out and play.

OK, here you go...

The silver runs across the tire is just anti-seize grease I put on so the center caps don't stick due to rather fresh paint and clear coat.

Needless to say I'm impressed and think All my work has paid off. I finally have "my" Q after 3 years.

Looks great Red!!! I definitely need to head out there and see in person. The wheels look perfect with the car, and it was a great move to stick to your color choice. I'm guessing that you have the cali spring on? Looks hot!

Yes, I have the cali springs on Tokico Blues and the Subframe collars and spacers. I want to put NICOclub.com on the front calipers eventually. Someday soon I want to finally replace my wood dash trim. I have the replacement wood trim from Jason Bartman, but need some dash face replacements to attach the trim to. They are being shipped to me now. Then the car gets a paint job (more than likely doing that myself when I can afford the primer and paint) and that takes care of the cosmetics. The rest is stuff like SPL adjustable tension rods and other steering rack related items will be done as I get the money for them.

I'm getting there, a little bit slower than I like, but I'm getting there none the less.

Here are some pics of what the car used to look like. From Piepans to BBS to O-Z. Ripped seats to seat not ripped. Active to not active.

to this:

And finally to the pics of the car with the new wheels. So there you go. I'll call it my journey!

Alright! That's what I'm talking about. You gotta love a car that's 14 years old and still looks that good. The 4th picture down is my favorite angle. Enjoy!!!

Very sharp Red, looks really nice. Much better than on Wes' car (JK Wes!!!). Definitely suits the style of the car.

As I mentioned in the "rejuvenation" thread of these wheels, I was skeptical as to how they would look on the Q.

I am happy to say that my fears have been laid to rest.

They definitely look good on the car, and the work put into them to bring them up to "good as new" was well worth the hours put into them.

Kudos to you sir. Good Job!!!

Why thank you fine sir! I might add that I eye your Q's body kit every single time I read a thread from you and think just how good that would look on my Q if I had one!

Cheers!!

Car looks great! I will look up your "wheel rejuvenation" post, ..but how did you resolve your "ripped seats"? One of mine looks bad and I'm contemplating what to do about it. Thanks, Frank
