I ordered my turbo and it's here, but I need you experts to see if they got the correct size... It's suppose to be a 50 trim turbo with a .63 turbine, but the compressor housing says "A/R 0.60" as in seen in the picture.

Is it the right size turbo?

The A/R is NOT the Trim. The compressor trim has to do with the actual size of the wheel. A 50 Trim T04E compressor wheel has a minor diameter or 2.122 inches and a major diameter of 3.000 inches. The A/R is the size of the nozzle designed into the housing itself. The trim and A/R are exclusive of each other. The same applies to the turbine trim and A/R. A Stage III T3 Turbine will have a 2.229 minor daimeter and a 2.559 Major diameter.

If I were to assume you have the turbo you ordered, a complete and accurate descrition of the size would be a T3/T4 with a 50 Trim T04E Compressor with a .60 A/R and Stage III T3 Turbine with a .63 A/R. So you need to have a trim and A/R for both the compressor and the turbine. Leaving any part out leaves it open to any number of possibilities. So if you want to know if you got the right size turbo, measure the major and minor diameters of the compreeor and turbine wheels. And the 360 degree bearing has no effect on size and frankly, you wouldn't be able to tell without taking apart the turbo.

just an observation...in the pic you posted, theres writing on the plastic wrapper. It says "50 x 63". Maybe that indicates 50 trim compressor wheel and 0.63 A/R exhaust housing?? Looks like you got the high temp coating too...

Yes, it does say 50x63, and yes my order receipt says 50x63. I was just thrown off by the A/R .60 stamp on the compressor housing. And yes, I got the high temp coating along with the 360 deg thrust bearing upgrade.
