Got my Stillen Front Fascia for my Coupe

Got an estimate at the body shop and let my dad know all the info about it.

since he bought it for me for my birthday i figured him to pay for the paint to, but to my surprise he said no.so now i have my fascia installed to inspect fitment problems and its unpainted.

my headlights have smudges and my taillights have dust



and the SoCal meet is tomorow.oh well, hopefully my fascia will be painted soon

You won't get any pity here for this kinda thing bro. Most people on this site work very hard for their own things. This kinda spoiled attitude will only get you flamed.

LOL, not his dad, his neighbor! That's what got me when he told me the story when we were at the STILLEN show. I just wanted to tell the kid off, in a horrible way

Also, this thread is just a cry for sympathy because his dad didn't paint his fascia for him. I feel no pain for this kid.

Please tell me you are not driving around with an unpainted front fascia. If there is anything more that I hate then a riced out car(not that putting a fascia on the A/C is ricing it out...its not) having unpainted body panels, I dont want to meet that thing. Looks so tacky. Be patient to get that thing painted and jus tkeep the stock on on!

Something about his neighbors don't have any kids, so they give him all kinds of money, because they dont have kids to spend it on. Spoiled crazy.

Yeah i know what you mean... I didnt know her personally but there was a girl i went to high school with that had a C6 Vette! Id see it in the parking lot everyday. Spoiled much?!? I wonder if they made her pay for gas?

Hahaha I don't think I even checked this thread after posting.

At the shop it was estimated at around $500, After debating it for awhile I saved up some cash and then got in a wreck. I had to replace the rack and pinion and get a dent popped out of the driver side front fender. Figured also to have the fascia painted at that time.

Dealer estimate at $1200. I would have taken it to a nearby Toyota dealership where my brother was working and have him do all that work for about half that price but it would have voided the warranty.

And yes my parents did buy me this car and I am very grateful for that. I in no way complain about them not getting me parts and was not asking for sympathy just updating you guys on my car situation at the time I guess.

My mom fronted the money for my repairs and I am paying her back. I am also on a personal payment plan to repay my parents for all the money they have spent (wasted) on me (tickets, repairs, court) and they don't want me to pay them back and although it does seem like I am one of those kids I hate spoiled kids. I take the utmost care of my car and super happy that my parents trust me with it.

I don't take your comments as an attack either, some of you know me and some of you don't. But for those of you who do can probably tell that I am not a spoiled kid (at least I try not to be)

My father gives me money for food. That's the only tangible money that actually goes in my pocket. They pay for a lot of expenses but come this summer they won't be because my dad is moving in with his girlfriend so I am moving out and getting a place with a couple friends. I have been on the hunt for a job for quite sometime now (granted not trying very hard recently) but have not come up on anything. Until then my debt with them is racking up.

For the record, from 8th grade on I have tried to not be one of those rich spoiled bratty kids just because I knew it would hurt me in the long run.

Because she's not my mom.My parents split soon after I was born, My mom is now married to some old guy (how she has money now ) and my dad has been with his girlfriend for a few years now.
