So I picked my first 350z on Saturday! Fianlly!

They cut me such a great deal that I couldn't pass it up.

---2007 Nissan 350z--- Solar Orange

I knowm this color is just so flashy! But it reminds me of the color that was used on the classic 70-73 Z's

btw, it was sold to me at 22,995

Brand new! Apparently no one wanted Solar Orange

I'll Post pictures later, I can't post any here at work.

Base trim,

I know! I wish I could get the NISMO, but I don't want to spend that much just yet, maybe after I pay this thing off.

I still love my S13! But i'll change the logo.

The Z drives awesome!!! Quite an improvement from my 73' haha!

Do some modding, and you'll have a nismo eater!..... The nismo is something, but if i had one i wouldn't want to mod it because of the long term value a nismo has at stock. Congrats on the buy! Sounds like you got a steal...... Pics soon please.

good deal!

...dont forget about the Z's torque...if you are not careful you can get in trouble quick especially since you don't have TCS

Sorry!

But you'll have to wait on the pictures just one more day, I took it back to the shop, one of the wheels was scuffed and scratched, they're replacing it. they're also installing lo-jack.

Anyone have any idea on how many were made in the solar orange color?

Nice. I have not seen one on the road yet that is that color.

From a NISMO perspective, you can do much better with the money saved. NISMO-Z is pretty much suspension and body kit changes. No motor changes at all. When I spoke with Nissan's director of special vehicles (who's department did the NISMO Z up) he stated he wished it had motor updates but when he came on board it was too far along in development (and release) to make any changes.

you know, I hadn't seen one on the road either.

Until today, I was on my way to a meeting with some Apple big shots,

and when i'm arriving to my destination I see another! same model, and color!

We both stared at eachother! and we both looked like, as*hole! He has the same one!!

It was cool, we both nodded and smiled.

oh, how I love seeing other Z heads on the road

Peace!

Help!!!

I was parking my car in a hurry, and I scratched my wheel.

How much is it to fix that?

It felt horrible!

This is the first time this has ever happened to me!

I feel so bad,

The 2 pictures you posted had different wheels, which wheel did you scratch?

It's it was an OEM, just watch ebay or find a local place, figure ~$100 (maybe more in CA) to fix. Personally, unless you bent it, I'd just leave it be. Save for some quality forged wheels later.

Oh the wheel that got scratched was a stock one. I didn't keep those aftermarket ones on her. I rather like the original ones.

Thanks for the input!!

Peace!

do you know how much they were asking for the aftermarket wheels?

dont worry about the wheels...it happens. just relax. be more mindful and enjoy

carbon fiber will complement that color well...then again carbon fiber goes with all colors

haha! Yeah, i'd rather have those NISMO wheels too!

They wanted, I think $800 for the aftermarket ones.

I'll just buy some nice ones later, so long as I have the originals.

Congrats on the new Z...

I got my SO 350 Enthusiast back in Mid-March and have been happy ever since. I love all the comments it gets.

I thought I was the only one in town to have one in Solar Orange..(( I see mostly the silvers rollin'along ))..but as soon as the weather turned nicer the other two in town appeared.

Have fun in the sun with your new ride.

Here's mine.
