Sucks cause its not running smoothly at all. Drives like its got a boost leak sputtering and stumbling anywhere in boost. We went over every intercooler and intake connection for 3 hours today and were pretty sure its not leaking the air. Seems like the MAFS is to blame but we swapped it with a good running SR's MAFS and it ran the same. ANy ideas?

Plugs looked good, set the timing, sprayed the MAFS with electronics spray, little to no improvements.

try to check your injectors, they can get stuck closed. I would pull coil packs to see if your down a cylinder.

Every plug and coil sparks beautifully, and it idles really smooth. But i will check each injector carefully tomorrow.

did u test it with another S14 MAF, check the part number on your MAF. s14\s15 motors use different MAF then the s13s, also is your motor a zenki or kouki?

Zenki swap, maf reads 6900F or similar so i know its S14. It ran exactly the same with an S13 MAF. They plug right up and look the same except for the part number.

is it reving to 2500rpm and thats it? if so check the continuity on the wire on the ECU for voltage it should be between .8-1.5 at idle. I had a problem with mine then we found that the MAF signal wire had been sliced a bit and was grounding out on the insolator inside of the wire loom.

after a few hundred miles its really running better. Feels like full boost around 3300rpms, stock T28 with 3" downpipe and exhaust. Shouldn't my T28 be spooled before that or is it about right on? Pulls pretty nice all the way to 7500.

sounds about right for full boost, i know mine reaches 7psi right around 3k so that sounds about right, glad to hear u got everything under control now, good luck and have fun, did u put in a new filter? if not put in a 300zx fuel filter
