THe camera's date is not set--I saw that after it was posted. THis weekend I was working on a run of s13 strut tie bars.

zer...age=1

The most invasive thing I did was fix the crank collar problem-- also replaced the usual oil pan,h2o pump, timing belt all seals new clutch

Next week I want to start working on the down pipe.

How durable or chip resistant is that wrinkle coat powder coating? My valve covers are just standard auto paint and doesn't like the heat.

Crinkle Coating is the most durable if you apply it right. I like using a heat gun to speed up the drying process. I have to get a shot of my bay on here. Ther whole thing is crinkle coated.!

I took the pieces to a powdercoater (65$) I wanted to to look factory, They bead blast the parts to make the coating stick better. It doesn't chip. I have done this with a few of my other motors and never had a problem.

Aww man, you got hooks! I have to wrap around my motor with a big *** strap on a come-along and hope it doesnt tip backward and kill someone.

I made a 1" indention in the firewall by the starter and set the motor as far back and as low in the chassis as I could--I left about 3/8" clearance. I have had my griffin radiator with FAL fans in with about 1/4" to spare.
