Hey guys I just got my wheels and now before I run out and buy tires I want some input. The wheels are 17x9 +20 M2 Hanbai NC-10Rs. I am planning on buying a set of yokohama s-drives in the size 235/40R17.

I took some pictures on the wheels on my car so go to my cardomain site to see pics if your interested http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2633020

My question is will this tire size work or will they come out past the fender. I should also mention that I've bought Ksport gt pro coilovers and plan on rolling the fenders. The car will be lowered a bit but nothing crazy. So with that said would these wheels fit find or not? I've seen pics of other s13's with this same size and it looked fine, especially in the front.

Thanks for the input.

I am currently running 17x9 +14 with the 235/40 tire. I also am lowered enough to avoid the average speed bump, can negotiate turns and crappy roads without too much concern, and have about 1" or so of fender gap front and rear.Out back I needed only to roll the fenders and am not running crazy camber.Up front, no modification what-so-ever. I still have my fender liners installed and get rubbing only on bumpy turns or unusually bumpy pavement. Again, no crazy camber (should be right about -1* front and rear) very pleased with the stance and ride height. However, get you some bump steer correction. I used Wicked tie rods and ends and that helped tremendously to eliminate wander, erratic brake dive and shaking of the steering wheel.Thats my .02, take from it what you will.

Thanks for the input, I know they will fit but when you first put them on the car and see them stick out I start to wonder if they actually will stick out when its on the ground.

It actually will stick out a little bit, but the slight stretch on the tire sidewall blends into the slope of the fender quite nicely. Especially up front.
