I got a turbo kit off ebay for my engine. It has IHI ball bearing turbo RHC6, greddy wastegate adapter, trust wastegate with downpipe, trust compression pipe, and EGT gauge.

It took me 2 days to install the turbo kit. It was a pain in the ***. I had to custom make 3 exhaust nuts hand filed by hand to clear. It took about an hour each to transform a 17mm nut into a 14mm nut. Next my friend accidently broke my wastegate nipple. So i had to drill it out and install another nipple for the boost line.

BUT OMG IS IT WORTH It...it doesnt spool until about 3800RPM but when it does it hauls ***. I get pulled back hard. I LOVE HOW IT SOUNDS...it sounds much more like a "skyline" its nice...at stock wastegate boost its about 10psi...and it kicks but!!! and thats with the SIDE MOUNT IC...it feels to be about 250WHP.... thats with stock IC and injectors no fuel tuning...i cant wait till i dyno tune...

Very nice indeed. Any specs on the turbo? Oh, and do you know if that wastagate adapter is available seperately? And being Greddy, it's not that horrible Mitsubishi turbo flange is it? But all in all, lookin' nice man. FMIC and tuning time..

Ahhhh I wouldn't have done that if I were you lol. You might be running lean. Wait till u get it on the dyno or drop some race gas in there just to be safe if ur goin to turn it up that high.

That's awesome! Where are you going to be thursday? I'd really like to get a ride in it if I can hunt you down. Mine actually runs now thanks to WDRacing. but I'm still not done painting and putting everything back together. So basically that turbo is like a ball-bearing T3/T4 right? Do you have the specs on it? I bet that IC is holding you back quite a bit. Good luck tuning!

goofynick6-What kind of power are you making w/ your setup? Would you recommend the T3/T4 setup? I was thinking of going w/ the 60-1, but I know one of the SR guys said it doesn't start making good numbers til near redline on their engines, so I'm thinking it's probably too big for the RB 20 as well.

I'd go with a 50 trim t3/to4e like mine, the 57 is a tad large, but if you want big power it's good. Spools a little slow, 10 psi by 4500 rpms in 3rd about, but a .48 turbine housing would help that. I'm not sure what power I'm making, but it's enough to romp on an STI wrx when I'm running 14 psi.
