Decided to upgrade to a new turbo for my birthday over the weekend. Its a t3/t04e garret unit, 54 trim, stage 2 turbine wheel. Overall the install was pretty painless. I had to grind some on the manifold to make the compressor housing clear and had to make a custom bracket for the wastegate, but other than that Im really happy.

What type of turbo is it? Straight Garret? Precision? 3rd Party? Looks nice though! Other than some slight modifications, it went on pretty easy? Is it ball bearing?

Nice! How does it feel compared to the stocker? Were you able to retain the stock oil/coolant lines or did you go with custom lines?

Do you still have your RB25 turbo? If it's in good condition (doesn't leak any oil) and you are interested in selling it, please send me an email (check my WTB ad in the FS/classifieds post).

yeah, that 25 turbo will sell quick indeed.

I have a Garrett T3/T4 just sitting on my computer desk but I don't want to put it on. My 25 turbo (on a 20) will be fine until its a GT series upgrade

Post Dyno when you get it!

its a t3 t04e 54 trim precision turbine housing with a stage 2 turbine wheel. Water cooled. I had a -4an connector braised to the factory oil line so I could use a nice stainless line. I cut the water lines and hose clamped line over them. Im pretty happy with it. I also did the z32 maf upgrade at the same time. My tune is way off running super rich. It spools awesome, really puts you back in the seat. I went to the track today and did 13.1 @ 113, with a 2.2 60ft. Im ordering injectors Monday and going back to the dyno to retune later in the week. I will keep everyone updated.

Rockin on man, i want to see what you times increase to and you power once you have the proper afr. I've always been debating a T3/t04e, but im a track nut, and i need nothing but midrange to top end, so i've been looking into GT30/35r's. I just need the right injectors and fuel management becuase im obsessive compulsive about needing to have 100 percent of the parts to finish the right build.
