Got my new S14 tails...

so I got my new tail lights for my 95 S14...in the hollowed words of Ric Flair, Wheeeeew That's Sexxxy!!!. I'm on my way to having one sexxy S14. The whole taillight section is all red, no amber turn signals, no clear reverse light, the whole thing is red, I love em. And they aren't painted , its actual red all I need now is the Ab Flug Carbon Fiber center garnish and they'll be beyond hot. I'll post pics after I get the car washed which will hopefully be tommorrow, supposed to be around 50 degrees here in Philly, good car wash weather, not great but hey it'll be the second warmest day we've had in months so good enough for me.

Ebay, They guys selling them was chinese and in his feedback there were a lot of comments about instructions for a bunch of stuff he sold being in Chinese. No where on the lenses does it say US DOT like it does on the reverse lights for USDM S14s. I just hope I don't get any grief about them, like I said the whole thing is red including the revers lights. I'll post pics in the morning, ran out of sunlight after I got home from washing the ol' girl. Let me just say, dayumn thats a sexy ***.

Nissan...seriously, they say Nissan Motor Company all over them, came in an original Nissan box. I don't know if they are JDM or what, maybe its what they have on S14s in China or Australia or something but they are stock on some country's S14 somewhere, just not here. Like I said I hope I dont get greif because the reverse light lens' arent clear.

looks good, are the signal lights red also? they look like it. you might get pulled over by state cops if they aren't yellow, don't know if they can get you for non-clear reverse lights...

Umm... alot of signal lights arent yellow on many new production cars... most in fact... as long as they blink yellow theres no problem

yea but cops are asses. a guy i know got pulled over for having aftermarket tail lights.

That may be the case, but these aren't aftermarket, they are OEM, just not OEM here. As for the yellow turn signals, they don't have to be yellow, they just have to flash. the only thing I'm worried about is the non clear reverse lenses. I still have the center panel that came with the car, so I can easily swap it out when I go for inspection. As far as getting a ticket for having aftermarket tails, I find that hard to believe, having blue or green bulbs I'll believe, my buddy from school got a ticket for having green bulbs for his corner lights.

Wow, those actually look real good. I looked at the picture at first and was like "What? Theyre the same as stock" Then it just hit me and i was like ohhhh. They are subtle, and I like that, not like those "OH LOOK AT ME I WANT ATTENTION" Clear ones.

I wonder if you would be able to do that with some of that paint made for headlights and what not.

I think the all red tails, with the center section that has the clear reverse lights would look even better. My guess is that they ARE made by Nissan, but some company in china just takes them apart, and removes/changes the colored inserts.

2G tails on an eclipse are all red, thats all. and so are 2000 integra GSR's. so there should be no problem with all red tails.

nice looking zenki looks like mines twin!!! same hubcaps and all ......i would be interested in getting the red signals but keeping the center piece on mine nice car! nice lights! just wondering how many miles on the body... miine is just at 25k

Nothing is sexier than a black 240 with kouki lights. I think the weird color of the zenki lights look better on a red car IMHO.
