and OMG, it sounds so amazing. i know some of you have recently ordered your Hiper, or are in the market for an exhaust. let me put it this way, i would choose the Hiper hands down over most of the exhausts i have heard, which are quite a few. it sounds so great. real low and deep in the lower RPM's, and not to loud in the higher RPM's. i could tell a difference in power. its definately an awesome exhaust to get. sorry for posting this useless thread, but i'm so excited! lol

Yeah that's like my greddy, great low sound, then it sonds awsome in the high rpms, especially with the intake :) Not excssively loud at all, and no people running fearing a swarm of bees are comming.

Plus you can let off the gas and no sound at all, except a low rumble. The only thing I don't like about it is how flashy it is.

btw, it's great to be back on digital again!! Now you people can see more of me, :evilhaha

The muffler is chrome, and is sorta tucked away under the bumper. It doesn't stick out and look out of place like the dirty stainless steel ones you see on a lot of cars, mainly hondas. The thing that I dislike the most is the 3-4 inch tip on it which is still taking time to grow on me. I would of prefered dual tips myself. Haven't got any complaints on it from others though.

That reminds me, I need to go polish it up real quick. BTW Eagle One's never dull polish kicks ***. I think it's better than mothers.

Here's a pic of the whole system:

That's awesome Ben! I cazn't wait o hear it. I want to enventually get an exhasuat, but I am SO PICKY about what it will sound like. Yours seems like the sound I am wanting. Real nice low rumble and no "fart-can" noise when accelerating.

You have a V6 Maxima, it doesn't really matter what type of exhaust you put on, it will sound mean.

The exhaust system isn't really what makes the exhaust sound raspy or deep, its the engine. I have a BS exhaust and it sounds exactly the same as my friend's N1.

Ummm.... by that theory my N1 dual should sound just like stock......... right.? WRONG.

It is a combination of engine and exhaust, and yes, you can make ANY car sound like a bumble-bee trapped in a tin can. A local Domino's pizza delivery boy has a brand new Camaro with dual exhaust... and somehow it sounds just like the typical Civic with the shiney chrome tip coffee can muffler.

Are you guys talking about the infamous HKS Hiper exhaust? I'm not sure, never seen one, but I heard they're nothing but the best...

Yes... and what a great way to ruin a new car.... stop and go all day. He also races it (I think) because every now and then he's got numbers in the side windows. It's a pretty nice car, but it sounds aweful.

thanks. i think you'll like it ;) where'd you get your brembo drilled rotors at? i've gone to brembo.com and didn't see any for my car, but i know they make them because nichols has some for his car. even if they aren't real brembo's, they've held up real good for him and helped his stopping power he said. they have sets for the 240sx on ebay, brembo drilled and slotted they say. i think i'm gonna get some, because thats also where nichols got his. so i'm just curious as to where you got yours.

I'm pretty sure it's just a V6 because it isn't very fast. But the point is that it isn't a 4cyl and somehow his dual exhaust is just crappy enough to make it sound like one!

Yeah, they had a group buy on them recently, you just have to email them if they aren't on the website.

Actually, I'll never have to VET test the Maxima. My tags do not expire until December of NEXT year, long after the VET is gone! :D All I need now is the money! :oface

I will definately check into that.
