I got a 1991 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo yesterday

So apparently the stock wheels don't accompany the more modern common tire sizes, so I need recommendations/suggestions on what I want for the Z. Should get the same size tires for all four corners? What brands are reasonably priced and won't bend after hitting one pothole? Should I go mid or low profile? Etc etc.

I think you should go with what you like and can afford, when you figure that out then we can help you with sizes.

Around $800 max. Anything more is pushing it unless I reaaally like the wheel in question. As far as what I like, I don't really know. I think Enkei wheels look pretty cool. Maybe black wheels to contrast the white on the Z. Or maybe gold/bronze? I can't decide. :P

A good set of tires will run you close to that. Maybe paint the wheels to give them a better look, and save your money for when those tires wear out to buy your new wheels and tires.

That's the thing... The Z has Fuzion ZRis with barely legal amount of tread on them.

I meant use the money you have for a set of tires. What you have left over is a good base to start saving.

TireRack and Discount Tires don't have anything except for tires designed for autocross/track for the stock wheel sizes.

You can order them online and have them shipped to you. Probably get a better deal that way.

These are the only ones on tire rack, they're summer tires but only have a 200 treadwear rating

Indeed, TT tires in stock size for the rear are a hassle to find. Here is what I found though (Extreme Performance Summer):

While getting a lot of tire advice, I haven't seen much wheel advice.

Craigslist has lots of used wheels come up for sale all the time. There is a thread on here somewhere about what wheels fit. Check that out.

I know lots of people go with the 350Z stock wheels as an upgrade for the 300zx... I'm leaning that way myself. Maybe something like this...
