Thanks, flohtingpoint... But i only see repair and wiring services being advertised. I'll shoot them an email asking them if they sell complete harnesses. Thanks for the quick reply tho!

No biggy =) If I had a spare one I'd shoot you one asap, but unfortunately most of the wiring harness I come across here in Germany are already cut =( If the wiring specialties individuals cannot assist you, you may want to try to contact heavythrottle (www.srswap.com), as they may have one lying around for you, you never know. Worse comes to worse, hit up the nissan for sale section here on NICO and do a "WTB: CA18DET wiring harness" thread and I'm sure someone may have one or could point you to a better location.

Bad timing.... float6969 was just selling one and there was just one on ebay about a week ago. Just need to be patient on these things. I hear themadscientist might be able to help you out though, so you may try shooting him and email. I guess he's gotten some before for people.

if your willing to wait I might have one for sale when I get Megasquirt. It probably wont be for another month or two so if your not in a hurry to get the motor in then I'd have mine for sale.

explain "cut". Do you not have the part of the harness that goes from the firewall to the ecu, or is the harness just in 2 peices?

if it was in 2 peices I would not be having this problem LOL. The harness is cut (the rest is gone) there are no plugs or anything. Thats why i need a complete harness.

Ok, I was just checking. I've seen people come in here in the past and said they needed a new harness because it was cut. Well in actuality, it was cut "in two" and they had a complete harness, they just needed to splice it. Anyway, I just wanted to clarify, thanks!

i have a spare one, it will need some work, someone thought it would be a good idea to use speaker wire to do some extension work on it.

well it looks in good condition and complete, except no MAF in the pictures despite the description.. it has the ignitor w/ stock bracket and the boost cut solenoid there.. for whats there its not a bad price, but neither is it a good one.

thats pretty well priced. I sold the same set up for $350 shipped (harness, ecu, dropping resistor, ignitor) about a year ago. If you need one, jump on it, they're becoming rarer every day ($$$) and you won't do much cheaper.

I bought mine from TMS for the exact same price, and that was a friend hook-up.

Believe me, you should purchase that thing right now, because it took me forever to find the one I bought.

i recently got my ca18 motorset from jazzproparts.com and man did they send me sh%$ it came with cut up hoses all around and no wiring harness so if anyone has a spare one that'd be great (btw for future ref. jazzproparts gets their engines from osak(didntknow))

and another thing wiring specialties has a 'cut harness' option wherethey use the ka harness to hook up with the engine without the sr harness...is this possible to diy?
