After waiting for 3 days for the mechanic to decide to come to work I finally got my car. I was on the verge of breaking in to get my car. The RPS clutch is awesome. Thing catches hard.Going to make a couple trips to Daytona/Orlando so it gets broke in good. However there must be air in the system. First got in the car it would not go in gear. Had to pump the clutch about 20 times then it was good. Went to Mcdonalds ate came outside.Had to pump it 5 times. Do I need to bleed it or will the air work itself out? It did last time....Also do any of our sponsors carry SS clutch lines?Thought they did but I can find anyone. Once it's broke in I'll have a few new videos. Was just told that if my clutch is hard(which it is) then air in the system is not the problem.......

yes i was just goin to recommend removing that stupid clutch dampener box. i've changed my clutch lines and slave and master cylinders a few times casue i thought they were faulty from mysterious loss of pressure. so i had to had to remove it.

Going to try this tomorrow when I get done installing a garage door. Took it out tonight for a 5 minute spin and got to take long shifts so it doesn't grind. But boy does it catch

SPL carries them. Cheap too. They work awesome. Get a speedbleeder from them as well and you should be golden. I also used some ATE super blue for fluid since I had a lot left over from my brake change.

Jesus man for the 40584058405th time!! FIRE THAT MECHANIC!!

What kind of mechanic does a "clutch job" and lets the car go when it cant even shift into 1st without pumping the pedal?! Arrrrgh this kills me man, every time you go that mechanic you post something about how he's screwed the job up again. DROP HIM!

Glad you like the RPS. I liked mine too, its a nice clutch.

lol Flordia and I seriously need to find someone we can trust....I don't know wtf is some ppl's problems...their sole duty is to fix a car, I don't why they can't just to their god damn job and get it overwith.

Or learn how to do it yourself. Clutch jobs are easy. Most everything outside of the engine is easy.

I've never been to the mechanic FIZ with exception of before I started workign on my car and they started crossthreading parts.........Well when he took the car off the lift and bleed it it drove fine. But now it doesn't. Assuming because when he bleed it it had enough pressure to allow it to move far enough away.He didn't take it on the road just drove around the lot. I just removed the dampner yesterday and about to go to the store to get more fluid. I love working on my car but I only have one day a week to do it and didn't have anywhere to go to resurface my flywheel. If I can do a whoel motor swap then why veer away from just the transmission? It was more cost effective for me to just pay $120 to have my car taken care of.

Well just bleed my clutch....and so far I can actually shift now.Have't been on the road yet though. But before I had to pump liek crazy to get in first then I was good after that. And finally added a boost gauge to my car(already been scorned enough)

I'd rather change the clutch myself than spend ~$120... Just for the re-assurance that every bolt gets threadlocker and torqued properly.

Oops lol I'm sorry Florida. I got you confused there with Mustangs_Suck. haha-- mustang needs to drop his mechanic, but you should drop this guy too obviously. You're just on strike one with your guy- mustang is on his 97th with his.

Well I don't think it wa shis fault.Because I"m sure after it was bled it ha dplenty pressure to go and gear and drive to the other side of the lot to where it was parked. I bypassed the dampner and eveyrhting is all good. But got to bleed it again. Drove for 2hrs today 5 different times. And On the last drive home. It was a little tough. And my bleeding wasn't perfect. So going to do it right this time.
