Got my CA powered Datsun 1600 running over the weekend ( finally!! )

man....It goes NUTS!!!!has 450cc inj in it ( ECU not programmed yet...so running rich )...and no exhaust....straight off the turbo!and need to do the timming yet aswell.standard boostVR4 intercoolerin a 940kg car.

absolutely INSANE is all I can say!still sideways in 3rd

Congrats man, that beast will be a maniac when it is done getting tuned.

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS

R34 GTR and float_6969 for the first time in their history on NICO, They both actually do a post right after each other without flaming each other. DAM, something is wrong. I think both aren't feeling good. Hey both of you, I need to laught so please start picking on each other. I am waiting .....

Yeah!...should be awesome once it's all tuned, and ready for a touch more boost

I've still got the standard 1600 diff in there at the moment ( even tho it's whining like a biatch, and leaking oil everywhere from all the abuse it gets )....lolBut will be swapping that very shortly....hopefully I can find a R200 LSD for cheap....If not a R180 will do till then.

Too bad you're in New Zealand, I think I know where I can get one for a decent price. I need to get out there and pic it up while the weather is still decent here.

Yeah....found one out of a Z31...but the gut is hopeless at getting back to me!...wants $150 for it....which is pretty cheap...they usually go for around $400 here.Also...they have to be the "long-nose" R200's....out of old school stuff like 280ZX's e.t.c....the "short-nose" R200's out of new skylines, cefiro's e.t.c. don't fit into Datsuns.....

are the internals different? What if you just got the internal clutch from Kaza or Cusco or Nismo and put it in there?
