Awesome!

I got a Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD... it's one of the cheaper ones but after doing my research I figured this has everything I need, and I like it alot more than the Kenwood ones. It has all the media options I need: CD, DVD, Ipod, USB, movies .... It's a huge upgrade considering our 03-04 Bose (Clarion) HU can't even play mp3s. The user interface is so easy to use, and it works perfectly with ipod and dvds. The sound is crisp and clean and just awesome.... even with the OEM bose speakers!

If you plan to keep your G, this should be a #1 upgrade for everybody. I don't get why they don't just install these OEM, I only paid $345 shipped.

Take your camera right now and go take 2 or 3 pics.

Oh, and make sure you change the button color to match. You can do that with that one.

You only paid $345 but how much was the bracket, new AC controller, new trim piece, and finisher piece? When I priced it for my 05, it was $400.

you don't actually need the bracket. you only need this part if you are not going to re-use your stock bracket. I just removed my stock radio from the bracket and re-used it with the DD kit. It worked perfectly.

Seriously, where are the pictures????? You got me all interested, but I see nothing! How much did you pay for the ENTIRE install? (AC control, Trim, Finisher, wire harness, etc). And where did you get it shipped from?

Sorry I was too busy and now I don't have a camera to take pictures

I bought the JDM ac controller and trim from ebay... used. It cost me around $150. I also bought a Metra kit from ebay for like $150, but I didn't like it too much which is why I got the JDM used one. So you can say it cost me like $345 for double din + 300 = $645. I'm planning to resell the metra Ac controller and my OEM radio so that should give me some money back.

If you are wondering why I don't like the metra ac controller it's because the buttons are kinda rubbery.... however the double din unit fits in it better than the JDM kit.
