-- So here's the wedding\honeymoon\J30 pics I been promising. We got hitched at a park in South St. Louis County by our house. Then we went to Gulf Shores, Alabama for a week. Here's the a shot of the whole wedding party.

--At the park...

-- Watertower at the Nissan plant on the way down.

-- Got to the beach.

-- At the big tree...

-- On the Mobile Bay ferry.

-- Surf & Turf.

-- On Bourbon St in NOLA.

-- This sign was pretty cool so I thought I'd throw it in there. It was by our condo.

-- Thanx for looking. Nico is Nice.

Congratulation on getting married!!!

The J looks good! I like the shot with the NICO sticker.

I've been married about 8 years. Some days it feels like it and other days it doesn't.

That part of 'bama looks nice. I may have to make a road trip when my daughters a little older. Possibly on a future trip to Disney world.

Me too! My thoughts exactly, and a BIG congrats on the BIG event, and a smooth trip to and from the Gulf in the J30. That guy behind you on the ferry was parked really close, his front bumper looks really rough.

-- No tour, but my Grandfathwer has a couple of boats in the area and they are both great for dolphin sighting. One's a sailing yacht and they'll swim with the boat right off the bow, so if you are sailing and sitting up on the bowsprint, they are right below you. The other boat is a 20ish foot runabout and on it you feel like you can reach out and touch them. Unfortunately we didn't have boat access on this trip, but we had the condo free of charge for a week, and it's bigger than our house, so I'm not complaining.

-- Yeah, we thought the ferry ride would be a lot more fun than it was. They packed us in like sardines. Not only could we barely open our doors to get out, space was so tight that everyone put handprints on her trying to squeeze by. Needless to say, I wasn't the happiest ferry rider, oh yeah it was like $17 to boot. It was a viable shortcut to New Orleans, though, which WAS fun. Lots.

-- Yeah I know, there's only a few million people in that area, weird, right? Seriously though, no, we only drove through. Did go to the battleship once when I was younger, it was pretty cool if I remember correctly.

How about some NOLA tales and information too?

I'm a big fan of the music (Dixieland jazz, The Iguanas, Dr. John, Professor Longhair, The Meters, etc) and I've always wanted to visit.

-- Yeah, what yoda said. But here's what I remember, anyways. We got there, walked the promenade, through the outdoor market, walked up and down Bourbon. Lainey had a daquiri at the oldest gay bar in the states, and at the next window I got a 'hand gernade', the guy wouldn't even tell me what was in it. More drinks followed. Let's see, I bought some cigars, we saw some excellent break dancing on the street & ogled the Bentley pictured above. Struck up a conversation about old bicycles in a courtyard with a couple of dudes who happened to be running the kitchen inside, and they comped our meal. We ate a ton of shrimp and crab, walked some more, and then started back for Gulf Shores. Even had a good natured go with a G35 coupe on the way home, I think we surprised him. We were in bed by 1am. Vacation is tiring.

Yeah, the USS Alabama was fun. Went there on a school field trip some years back.

I don't see too many J30's down here, let alone the modified ones. That's why I was surprised that I didn't see yours; I was rolling along @ Dauphin Island that same weekend.

I like your wheel setup. Are those the G35 OEM rims & tires?

-- Yeah, they are '04 OEM G35 rims. Thanx for noticing, I had made a thread on the subject a while back, prolly 10 mos. ago. We were on Dauphin Is. the first Fri of June, but only breifly. We just drove through. We did find a righteous beach eatery just after we headded off the island, though. It was on the right after you make a left on the beach, coming N off the bridge. Gabe's Fajita Shack, it was awesome.

Yep; that's Alabama for ya.

J30s look better with spoked rims than with the factory ones.
