Not what you are thinking. ;)

Friday night hubby and I were in the den and we heard a crashing noise. Looked around in the house and didn't see anything. Saturday morning I was getting dressed and he came in and said "I found out what that noise was", and he was holding the rack that holds our lawn tools in his hand. This rack hangs right by my car. I was about to lose it when he said that nothing hit my car, they had all fallen straight down.

:ohno:

Got lucky on that one. There were all kinds of shovels and rakes and stuff on that rack. The Infiniti gods were watching over Skyler that night.

BTW...we bought a new tool holder and HUNG IT SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! :yesnod

Lucky Lucky

Yeap Rich is right. Get a shed and keep the tools there. I built one last year. Glad I did it. I don't have any gardening stuff in my garage.

BTW from the title I thought you went to the casino. LOL

I have storage shelves that I hanged from my garage ceiling that make me nervous...It would be a bad day if those things failed!

Glad to hear your car was spared!

Went to the casino Saturday night....didn't get lucky at all

We have a 3 car garage and if I ever make myself sell my Camaro, we will have plenty of room for lawn stuff. Every time I say I'm going to list it on Auto Trader I get teary eyed. :frown:

Just run to Home Depot or Lowes and get a small Rubbermaid type shed. I got two display models for 25% off a while back to get my lawn crap out of my man cave.

I'm rolling with Lowes gladiator stuff with concrete screws, but that is in the back of the garage. Had a valve cover fall at the place I was renting a few years ago, big dent in hood on my S13 coupe.

A little bit of the gladiator stuff, holding 20lb sledge, weedeater, hedge trimmer, etc, etc:

This exact situation happened to me. Except it has a row of shelves that had all kinds of crap and heavy boxes. Anyways, 4am one morning, it gave and came crashing down. I wasn't so lucky, as everything landed on my Audi A3. I had the opensky, which means 75% of the roof is all glass. Luckily, the roof didn't shatter, however, i had to get a new hood, fender, and minor repairs on the passenger doors.

I had a close call also. A street sign was hit by a moron driver, and he knocked the sign down. Inches from my rear fender. When I walked to my car and saw the sign, I almost cried thinking my car got cut. Either way, if you do sell rambo, maybe the money can go to your new garage!

We are moving into a new house pretty soon and the garage is way smaller than I have now. It will fit 2 cars and that is about it. I have been researching ways to utilize garage space and have determined the Gladiator stuff is the best way to go for the money. Looks like it will hold up very well.
