Get comprehensive insurance. It pays for itself the first time someone screws with your car. My last car, a 3000GT SL got egged twice in 6 months at two different apartment complexes. So it was either entirely random or someone didnt like me. Anyway for the 80 dollars or whatever it is for 6 months they fully paid out about 1300 bucks to fix it both times, and comprehensive cases dont increase premiums the majority of times.bembol wrote:Interesting that my last coupe, '02 Acura RSX Premium never got touched once but a few days ago it got keyed again, twice just over a year of owning her.
My brother (who's 2.5S Coupe also got keyed), said why bother because if his got keyed again he wouldn't get it repaired, clearly these punk/***** have a problem with us.
Whether I go through Insurance or Not, this is very expensive and I'm thinking about putting the cost towards say, Eibach Springs.
If I do leave this, any tips to band-aid the scratch. Thanks!
I think most here do have comprehensive insurance - these are practically new cars with at least a few outstanding loans. It's the deductible that get in the way. I'd be eating most, if not all, of the repair cost if this happened to me, and I have comprehensive.Boilermaker318 wrote:Get comprehensive insurance. Forgot to mention to get $0 deductible for comprehensive. It was worth it on my 14 year old 3000GT and its worth it on my new coupe.beeristasty wrote:

Clear 3M Bra FTMFW!!! I had the guy that did my overlays quote me at $600 for bumper and hood. Im just curious if you guys have this on the 09 Max, Coupe, G37 or any of the other SEMA/show cars and how much did it cost?kyle@stillen wrote:We put this on all of our race cars...amazing stuff...

It's not as nice and rosy as you make it sound...if you have no violations or claims on your car, adding a comp claim or two could make you lose your clean risk credit, or even just shoot your premiums up, or if you throw down enough comp claims, you can be non-renewed. Insurance is a fun business....Boilermaker318 wrote:

works perfectly. i bought the full cover, but took the back off to be able to use a silicon/hardplastic case (cases dont fit over the back film). yes it does come for the front of the phone.dldjros69 wrote:Whoa does that really work? How much? What is it?
I just got the 3g and i have a case for it so that doesnt matter. Any protection for the screen?
Like I said, Nationwide told me that comprehensive claims do not increase premiums unless it is abused. If your car is getting vandalized that much you should probably move anyways.marlin29311 wrote:

My point was that you didn't mention the carrier - each insurance company treats claims differently.Boilermaker318 wrote:
