First time shes run since october. The battery is stone cold, so she will only run or needs to be jumped.

Was misfiring, spilt some oil on the valve cover, i think its cutting number one. another cyl has to be missing too, shes limping in idle and sounds like a wrx :P

Annoyed though.... stupid thing still seems to be smoking a lil bit. pretty sure its my turbo since i jsut replaced the HG.also, a kind of whine noise is coming from my timing belt... i think i over tightened it

but other then that, it was nice to sit in my sexy pulsar again. gotta get a new battery and then figure out why shes misfireing. but i gotta git her running asap, its the only car i have since my van died.

Glad to hear another ca running. Mine sounded like a WRX for a few days turned out to be a bad coilpack. Maybe same deal with yours?

mine whinned when i first got my ca running. It was because the timing belt was on too tight. good thing i fixed it before anything happened.

I dunt wanna take the stupid timing covers back off... its such a hassle, gotta move the motor mount. Gotta take off all the belts... GOD it sucks. The adjuster is UNDER the lower cover, right?? I forget, I know I jsut had it open this week, but I've had a lot on my mind.

Oh and today I got a new battery, a coil might be bad, but my ground wire is soooo corroded too. I tapped it and it showered powder around. So i need a new ground strap, I bet that is a contributing factor.
