This may sound like a cheap endorsement, but if Progressive is your insurance company, use your collision coverage and one of their Service Centers to get your car fixed. If they can confirm coverage and liability with the other party's carrier, they'll front your deductible for you.
If you dont have an existing relationship with a body shop (AKA, been through this before), their service centers are great. Drop off you car, get a rental, they'll write the estimate there and then send it to one of their direct repair facilties. Whats great is they quality inspect it before calling you to pick it up.
The shops tend to do better work since they are delivering it to people who are professionals for quality inspection and not just your average consumer.
