so i was driving home from work tonight. up ahead i see police lights and an accident. apparently this old hag in a Mercedes pulled onto the 2 lane road right in front of a van coming at her and they crashed. traffic was passing in the left lane so i got over. and proceeded by at about 5mph. i glanced to my right to see what happened and i get rammed by the old b**** in the mercedes. apparently the police told her to put it in reverse so they could clear the road. but she decided it would be a better idea to put it in drive and smash my 240.

this is the first accident i have ever been in, the damage doesnt look bad at all. a new door and a BFH and ill be good to go. the rear wheel got a little paint taken off of it as well. so what route should i go to get the most money i can from this? i want to see this b**** get stripped of her license, she is too old to drive anyways.

I feel your pain man. That would make me sick to my stomach to see my car like that. Especially if it was that bad a**.

If they low ball. SUE. They can fix that. It'll cost alot. like 4-5 grand. but it can be fixed.

Wow. Honestly one of the nicest looking Zenkis I've ever seen. I'd be so pissed...

Funny story. My s13 was having fuel pump issues a few weeks back, and I had to pull over to the side of the road. It was about 4pm, clear weather and I was on a road that was flat for miles. I was sitting there for about twenty minutes and out of no where some old lady PLOWED the rear or my car on her bicycle. She broke two teeth, one went through her lip and she also dented my hatch and bumper. This old lady didn't look up ahead of her for a whole mile.

Moral of the story: old people should stay away from roads.

She hit the quarter and the door, so that means she probably bent the unibody in the door jam. You will probably have to have a frame shop get in there and try to pull the metal back out.

s***, file a suit against the police. they failed to maintain conrtol of the accident scene, directly causing you to have a f*** car.
screw that lady in court, screw the cops too. f*** it, become the biggest thorn in the dept. side theyve ever known.

agree'd.

That said it really isn't as bad as it looked in the night pictured. Get a new door. Ride like that till you can aford to have a body man straighten the panel behind the door for you (shouldn't cost too much) and bondo/primer/paint/clear and your good to go. you won't be able to see the difference.

LUCKY

kind of forgot to update this ha. picked up a new door for $50, bought a plane ticket to Hawaii to visit my brother and i still had insurance money to play with so i picked up overfenders as well.

i ended up spray painting the door with duplicolor gloss black and wetsanding. then duplicolor clear and more wetsanding.

looks like a**

Image

not too bad for spray paint

Image

i had to put the door on by myself, never again that sucked
