Got in a wreck yesterday

Well, I was driving home from school yesterday in my Taurass, I mean Taurus, when the pass. front wheel and tire decides to fly off. I was doing 70mph and my rotor fell to the ground and started to slowly make my fwd car drift. I got over to the emg. lane and got the car home via tow truck, and I had to walk 1/10 of a mile up to get my tire. Well the car is fixed already, and my pride has been shot, lol, jk!

It snapped all my studs on the rotor, and I had to get a used rotor. Thats what you get driving a taurass!

Also. look at the rotor, see how one side is flat!!!! lol!

Yeah, you wouldn't if you had to deal with the salt in the Salt Belt, I mean the Midwest.

Oddly enough, I had the same thing happen to my 240 but with much less body damage. We got it on the road for 50 bucks.

I think it is done out of love. Winter salt destroys cars. We can't all live in the dessert.

240 he|| I thought it was the bike.Wrecking one of those will put a man down hard.So glad that you are OK!Having a front wheel and tire of a fwd car come off at 70 mph will make an butthole tight.

indeed, seems like everyone is wrecking their 240's lately, nice to see it's a Ford for a change.

I almost had a heart attack. Dont ever scare me like that again you JACKA$$!! Good to hear you controlled it and were able to get out safely though man.

Yes its ugly, BUT.............

1. It saves stupid miles and door dings to and from college/work.

2. It will get me around in this salt infested tundra, lol!

3. It lowered my insurance damn near in half!

4. IT IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REPAINTED!!!!!!!!!!

on a side not, my mom used to have a tauras wagon, talk about rust spots and milage

yes it's a ford taurus, a ford taurus that cost me a $150, yes I bought it for $150. I think that will end the debate here.

no not really, it was thought that it wouldn't pass emissions, but that turned out to be false. all i have done is put in a water pump, axle, and this work from just now. good deal if you ask me

Only reason it was that expensive is cause we needed to buy some tools. It was 31 or so in parts.
