When i first bought the tint for my headlights and applied them. my visiblilty at night was reducecd severly. I bought Pilot 8000k HID's

ill put up pics of where i installed the ballasts, the instalation was very easy. i also through on a set of blue lit windshield washer nozzles.

Day

Night

I have tested the brightness on other drivers at night and everyone says you see blue but its not blinding. testimonial from a bike, a car, and a truck.

I honestly think that the lights would be way to bright without the tint

Regardless during the day my tinted headlights are illegel and at night my HIDs are illegal so lets ee what happens.

clean slate so far "knock on wood"

that looks really good man, did you get a bi-xenon or did you lose your high beam? Also, why are the tinted headlights illegal?

I dont know why there illegal. but here in ontario you cant have any tint on your headlights so i through my headlights on when i see a cop and they cant tell the difference because i cant.

i love the blue glo the washer nozzles leave on the hood from the inside, and i dont really care about all that rice talk because during the day it still looks mean.

I bought a bi-xenon kit cost me like $220 highbeams are slighly brighter but there both HID. No Halogen which i like.

And you can't figure out why they're illegal? The HID's are a big improvement. Just think, if you didn't have the tint on the quality of light would be 100x better. Regardless it's a good upgrade, I won't say anything about your wiper blades, to each their own.

I dont know the exact reason why they are illegal, just not saying that lower visibility is the reason because there could be multiple reasons.

If there's some kind of regulation it's usually for safety purposes. If you noticed that the light output was reduced even by a small amount then your ability to drive safely has been impaired. Chances are that's why they're illegal. I'm guilty of it too, I've got 5% on my front windows and without my backup camera I'd have to roll down my windows to reverse.

im on the same boat when i make lefts i still like to roll the window down because its hard to see outside. I dont think i have 5% on the front but its darker than the stock rear tint.
