hey everyone, i've sorta stayed low profile on the boards, but i have a red 93 coupe w/ a ca18det in it. i bought the car october 2002, drove it for two weeks and took it apart, i spent 14 months building it and just got her running a few weeks ago, i finally got around to going to the dyno today, i got it tuned and had a few runs. on a mustang dyno i pulled 178 at the wheels on 9.5 PSI. we were doing a high boost pull at like 14 but the coolant started to boil and shoot out of my cracked coolant resivoir so they put an end to that. and we didnt' get Numbers for that run, i looked up and saw 208 something, not sure it if was touque or hp but it was only like 5-6K but who know's, i'm goin to dyno it again in sometime after i get a few more things. but a mustang dyno reads about 15% lower than a dyno jet. and if you add 15% to my 178 its around 204. i was pretty happy w/ it, and only being at 9.5 psi. anyway here is a link w/ a few pics of my car

nice car. those are some very respectable power figures youve got there. hope i can manage somewhere around there when i go back and stop this car from running like a sack of manure. good luck with the car, hope you get that overheating/cracked coolant resevoir fixed.

yea, i was the one that bought that mines ECU, z32 maf and full CA harness off of ebay, all because i needed the damn droping resistor, but anyway, w/ that ECU, ca16 cams, 550cc injectors, a similar set up to mine w/ an S15 turbo running 17 psi the guy i bought the ECU from ran 385whp, thats what he told me. so prob around summer time i'm goin to get a bigger turbo, not sure what yet, ca16 cams, greddy 02 housing, RX7-550cc injectors, do some head work, get metal headgasket and do arp studs and bolts, and also ceramic coat my intake and exhaust manafolds. then i'll see what she can do. tonight on the way home from work, being it all cold and stuff, i shifted into 3rd nailed it and spun like a mofo, first time i've done that, driving in second if i just nail it when it hits 5k the tires will just spin. and i've got 225/50-16 perelli P700's on the rear w/ 140 tread wear. that dyno tuning made a huge difference. and this was all at 9.5 PSI i'm pretty stoked. they guy that dyno tuned it said he already set the second file fuel curve on the super afc for higher boost (around 13-14psi), i just gota tune my boost curve to get the ocelation out then i'm sure it'll be even crazier. but i've got an oil leak from the oil pan i gota fix first before i'm goin to turn up the boost. still got alot of little things to do first on it. i'll keep ya'll updated

very nice work with the quality of the parts on your car. i try to do the same, but with virtually no income that keeps me from doing much. im cheap with everything but my car, and soon ima probably break down and ghetto the shiat out of it. good luck with higher boost.
