I would research for like 3 weeks untill i know exactly waht i want...not let random people from some forum feed me info on what i want....

If you know what your getting and why, you will understand your car alot better...if you know your car, it may actually work when you want it to. Instead of getting confused and paying someone to fix it.

what part of LA are you in? if your going the sr way you can go talk to marcos vargas at the sr20store its in gardena off the 91. he did ny swap for 3900 s13 blacktop it took him a week but he asks you to leave the car for 2weeks. hes a realy cool guy one of the best when comes to do with anything skyline 240 related. http://www.sr20store.com

yeah, Marcos is a very reputable guy. It would probably be in your best interest if you get an sr20, to order it through the shop that's going to install it for you, that way you can avoid some shipping costs. You can expect to pay close to 4 grand or sometimes more for just the swap and install.

It just all depends on what you're using the car for. Would you be autocrossing, drift, drag, street? the KA is going to be a torque monster. If it was me, I would get an sr20, just out of personal preferences.

i would like to drift here and there... but nothing to serious just go out on drift days to have fun.. since ive wrote this entry ive been researching turbos and SR engines and im thinking maybe sticking to a n/a KA and fix it up to push around 250hp.. that would be my goal.. i really love cars but dont have time to deal with problems incase an SR engine goes.. and im thinking maybe in the long if the KA blows i can always buy another KA for like 500 or so.. what do you guys think? honestly at this point i can goeither way.. some suggestionswould be appreciated.. and thanks for replying the first time..

Uh... good luck on that one.

I guess that's one way to blow $4500, and then some.
