yea...its jes dyin for an SR swap in there....oh well.. not yet! but ur kinda off topic! lol jk, its that danged valve cover...got rid of the stupid chipped stock black color, and no, theres no paint on it at ALL, its friggin nissan super bling chrome! if i start to hate it, then i ll just paint it glossy black, (bought the paint just in case) all i used to remove it was aircraft paint remover(works great!)

you know what i notice.... your engine bay is stupidly dirty, the next thing i noticed what your brake fluid is almost black.... time for a change???? then i noticed how you wasted your time on a valve cover while you could have done something productive with your time.

Im not trying to bash you but jesus your brake fluid is disgusting, and your motor is caked with crap on it.

back ur as$ up zulu. By not trying to bash him, you are doing quite a good job of it. Ever thought that maybe he just started with the valve cover and will be moving on to the rest of teh engine bay?

lay off man.. let's see you motor shot with a time and day stamp on it from last month.

yea engine bay is dirty...sorry i dont have time to sit there and clean it out, besides, nothing to show off anyways. thanks alot *******! at least i wont miss all the bantering and BS that we used to have on honda-tech, its the same here! but yea..engine bay is dirty, brake fluid is not bad trust me theres no 'gunk' in it, i check it regularly, maybe i ll change it when i change the pads soon, ever think of that smart guy? hmm? jeeze...WORK IN PROGRESS! when i first go the car, more **** was wrong with it, as in the intake manifold hard pipe(water inlet) was rusted/cracked/bastard didnt tell me and i didnt notice it when we were driving at all(never overheated, just leaked a little fluid, then later on it started boiling coolant thats when i noticed it, plus there were tiny puddles on the road after i would drive it). so the motor bay is a little dirty..big deal? this isnt a show car ya know....i was bored, tired of the chipped off paint, grabbed some aircraft paint stripper, and went to town, after two passes with teh stuff it jes slid right off, washed it off threw it back on with a NEW valve cover gasket, and wanted to post it up. 4 bucks can change the look big time. even if it isnt cleaning out the engine bay

CaoBoy, nice job on valve cover. did you clean it off then apply some clearcoat over it? if not, those oil stains are gonna be a ***** to polish out again (so i've heard.

Being the chap@$$ that i am, i had a spare v/cover & i slathered some cheap DOT3 brake fluid i had laying around (since i heard that this stuff removes paint). But most of that stuff is still on there after ~ a week. Gonna have to put up w/ getting some aircraft remover then :P or maybe get a wire wheel & start doing it manually.

dang dude that engine bay is ugly! first you need to touch of the valve cover..its got some paint chipping off....then u need to get rid of that front intake thingy...O and damn u need to get rid of that vlue wire running across....looks like some sort of ground effect in ur engine bay.

lol just playin. good lookin motor! have you dynoed that thing yet?
