got boost?

hey red/black top heads! ok almost ready for the road this year, just replaced alot of silicone couplers and had my front mount fixed...boost 9/10lbs no problem.when i turn up the mbc ...pulls harder but maxes out at 10 exaust leak?/turboseals?/boost controler?/bad gauge? wtf else could it be? anyone else deal with this?

Did you check it for boost leaks? Easiest way is to make up a cap that goes in place of your airflow meter and it has a valve on it that you can connect up to a compressor hose. Then open the valve until you reach the desired pressure and you find air leaking where it shouldn't be.

Other than that, a turbo on its way out can cause you to hit a boost ceiling. Pull the compressor inlet and make sure there isn't excessive shaft play.

What kind of manual boost controller are you using? Bleed types tend to not function very well IMO and cause more headaches than they're worth.

thanks for the reply, gonna do the boost leak test some time this week,might as well check inlet for shaft play.

and im running a DNA manual boost controler <<< i guess its turning out to be the piece of shyte i thought it would be for $80
