Got another 240sx hatch...

After buying one 2 years ago with ambitions to turn into a sil80, I wrecked it drifting, then an accident, then another, then a drifting accident, then another. A blown radiator, headgasket, totally ****ied up allignment and what not. I bought another. I think I got a deal on it too pretty much. Its an 89 SE model without sunroof, though I dont think 89's came with them, or I havent seen any personally. It has a few minor dings and scratches, but other then that, its in immaculate condition. Interior is awesome too. Came with an upgraded distributor, and cold air intake, exhaust upgrade, and a pretty nice stereo system. I bought it off a dealership that took it as a trade in, for $2200. It only had 113k miles on it.

Only thing me and my brother has seen wrong with it is the radiator pipe's clamp is kinda loose and might pop off and there seems to be a minor oil leek somewhere. Gonna check it out at his place next weekend when I have time off from work.

But now finally I can start to work towards getting my sil80 completed. starting from 0 is a lot better then starting from 0, going to like -100 then trying to go positive again...

congrats, i got mine, same condition just 1 major ding (yet isn't so major) on the passenger side rear quarter panel.

got mine for $2400 only had 114k =] and yes 89s had sunroofs =] mine does with lip and rear wing =]

regardless it's a nice find. quality pignose are impossible to find these days.

I should have pics by the weekend, my brother has a digital camera so I will have them up here soon.

Mine came with that rubber wing and lip wing too, but they both will be replaced with something else, cause they just dont look right...

i dunno about converting to s13 so fast. especially with the rate of accidents. if youre gonna convert, paint etc youll cry if you scratch it so yeah. might wanna just save that money put it aside couple hundred-couple grand and pick up a nice conversion fenders, bumper, hood etc get it primered and left in ur garage or something. if you do convert and everything youll be more scared of taking turns.

i suggest you to check out the local tracks though because its safer and you can do it legally. well its not that safe but its ok haha just dont flip lol
